FALL HARVEST DANCE
Our second annual Fall Harvest Dance is only a couple of weeks away.  There are still volunteers needed for the check-in/payment table, serving food, helping Beth with the Apple Bobbing contest, judging the pumpkin carving contest and clean-up at the end of the event.  You can sign-up through the link in the e-mail sent out last week or contact Arlene and she can enter you in the appropriate time slot.  Coming in costume is encouraged.

We are all considered to have a standing dinner reservation each week a meeting is held unless we have informed (in advance of the meeting day) the person responsible for dinner that we will not be there.  Please remember that when a member does not show up and has NOT indicated they will miss the meeting, the person cooking has prepared enough food to feed YOU along with all the others.  As a common courtesy to the cook, if you fail to show up without canceling in advance, please pay the cook for that night.  It is very discouraging to spend the money on and prepare enough food for, say 15, and only 9 people show up for the meeting.  Remember the 4-Way Test of things we think, say, or do.
